Prof. Dr. habil. László Kovács

Professor and Head of Department of Information Technology at University of Miskolc, Hungary. He is a specialist in knowledge modeling and data mining, and a leader member of the Research Group on Machine Learning of the university. He obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences in 1998. His main teaching areas cover Database Systems, Data Mining, and Ontology Management. His research interest involves the following areas: soft computing, concept set management, heuristic optimizations, ontology modeling, statistical grammar induction and rough set models.
He has about 250 publications with 450 references.
