Olivér Hornyák was born in 1973 in Kazincbarcika. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Miskolc in 1997. In 2002, he obtained an additional diploma as an English translator. In 2003, he obtained a PhD degree at the Hatvany József Doctoral School of Computer Sciences.
