He was born in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Miskolc in technical informatics in 2001. Between 2001-2004, he was a doctoral student and then aassistant to professor. In 2008, he defended his PhD thesis entitled "Scheduling model and heuristic methods to support the fine programming of on-demand mass production" with summa cum laude. Assistant professor since 2008, associate professor since 2011. Member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In 2008, the Miskolc Area Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences awarded him a scientific prize. Area of expertise: Scheduling. Multi-objective optimization. Search algorithms. Process modeling. Simulation. Production planning and management. Project scheduling.
